Member representing the industrious people of Somolu Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, through his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Mayowa Adeoye, transmitted a life touching democracy day greetings for all Nigerians, to commemorate and celebrate this wonderful and historic day in our nation.
According to him; “this year 2022 Democracy Day celebration marks the 23rd years of uninterrupted civil administration in our dear country. This day provides us an opportunity to reflect on our journey as a nation, our achievements and struggles together.
It is a day to honour our founding fathers, heros and heroins who toiled ceaselessly to establish our Republic, and every Nigerian who has worked in one way or the other to sustain same.
It is indeed a very difficult time for everyone owing to various economic challenges facing us as a people and as a nation, but it is also a good time for us as the 2023 general election draws closer to give the desired opportunity to change the narratives.
The survival of our democracy is all our efforts, sustaining same this far has been challenging, and a collective effort and struggle of everyone has brightened up our future.
I congratulate all Nigerians, my dearest Constituents, particularly Leaders of our democratic institutions on their resilience and determination to ensure that Nigeria remain as a shining example of a democratic nation and, most especially our Youth for keeping the Nigeria hope high and alive, for believing in a brighter future and having the zeal to building the Nation we will all be proud of.
