Another big blow today landed on the faces of respected APC party leaders in Somolu Local Government.
The incumbent Chairman Abdul Ahmed Salawu who is also a contestant hijacked the election materials and officials and forcefully took them to his office. When corrected, he bluntly refused to allow them move to the LGA party Secretariat, and solely announced that he cancelled the election.
Also, his media aide, Ajimomuiya in a publication released via an online media platform claimed to have been attacked by Hon. Kuye’s boys in the local government, we took our time to visit all the police stations in the local government but non of them is aware of such. More so, the picture used in the publication is that of the disruption of APC Mega rally at Ikeja in 2019.
No knowledge of any attack anywhere in the local government, we also noticed that all party faithfuls were still waiting earnestly and peacefully at various wards to cast their votes. No picture of his attacked body is seen anywhere and the reason he has continued to attack Hon. Ademorin Kuye is still unknown to us.
