With great joy in the hearts of the South-South People’s United Forum of APC in Lagos, as they recount and appreciate the Almighty God, the unchangeable Changer, who has massively used the Governor Sanwoolu and his Deputy in Lagos State to bring great development and advancement to every part of Lagos State and Lagosians at large.
In their submission today through the group’s media personnel, it reads “Wow! like a twinkle of an eye this regime has completed two years in office. From Presidency to State Government across the nation will roll out celebrations and felicitations of being in the office. This is a season of giving account of stewardship, achievements and land miles covered in the last two years in office.
May 29th is very much around, a day of reckoning from Federal to State government. And our amiable and great achiever, the people’s governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat are no exceptions for the loudable and visible achievement made so far by the duo in the mid-term journey into their tenure, inspite of economic meltdown, Covid-19 impact and ENDSARS protest that almost brought the State and the entire nation to her knees. This present administration was able to sail the State through these trouble waters not only safely but successfully.”
The State Chairman of the group, Otunba Engr Emiyede said, “In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and its attendant economic hardship, the governor graciously ensured that our people were accorded priority in the distribution of palliatives and UNDP MSME grants”
The South-South People’s United Forum of APC Lagos State led by Mr Sam Egube, the Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget and chaired by Otunba Engr Emiyede, the executives and the entire members are saying “CONGRATULATIONS! your achievements has proved your aspirations and anticipations right through the “THEME” agenda for the State.”
In the period under review, the State government has made massive achievements on infrastructure development, from road construction and rehabilitation, housing scheme, upgrading of the health sector, over-hauled transport sector with introduction of first to last miles buses, schools and education sector at success level. Even with the security challenge facing the country, Lagos State is safe and peaceful because is in safe hands.
Otunba Engr Emiyede further said that “The governor’s timely intervention on his health challenges saved his life from the cold hands of death early this year, 2021.
On this note, South-South People’s United Forum and her leadership are using this opportunity to congratulate the governor and his deputy.
We are also saying a big thank you for their inclusive style of government and support that give us a voice and representation in their political appointment, this kind gesture, has made the South-South people a contributor and beneficiary of this present regime. We stand to say, this is the strength and stability of this government.
The Lagos State government under leadership of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy Dr Obafemi Hamzat has become the face of true governance and democracy in Nigeria political terrain for their focus, impactful, innovative, humane and inclusive governance.
